At last the hawks have given us the a mix of their old style and new, the latest albums have been very synth based and tech compared to the old heavy space rock of years gone by tho to be honest i like 90 percent of hawkwind material but when they get it wrong they get it wrong..........this is the trip of the present spaceship hawkwind taking you up and down and inside out. I love all the tiny little almost hidden sounds and keyboard levitational sounds that are brocks trade mark..you know the sort? the sounds that make your brain feel as tho you are lifting off!!! I honestly cannot compare it to any other hawk albums as this one stands alone but i will say it has a bit of everything so if like me you think the guys cant go wrong then buy it. sadly tim blake is not on this one as he spends most of his time in france but its great nonetheless.
