I'm sure I've seen this listed for sale in various European sale lists at seemingly unrealistic prices for Tucky Buzzard, whose albums are not typically that rare, so I balked. But now I know why the inflated price, as this was only released in Spain. It came out very shortly after the release of their second album, the first in the US. It is believed to have been recorded late in 1970, according to the modest liner notes. Musically, this is decent prog rock, and sounds not as commercially oriented as their later releases. Some of the material is fairly hard and features Hammond organ, guitar and some horns, though the latter not to any extensive degree. The title track suite is among the best on here, but I found it rather inconsistent myself. The album itself has an unusually short play time. This CD reissue includes a bonus track in the form of a Spanish only, non-LP single B-side, and still, the total playtime clocks in at just barely 35 minutes. No booklet included, and minimal liner notes in the form of a promo banner at the top of the back cover. Review by "tymeshifter" (Rate Your Music).
