WIND (not be confused with an identically named krautrock band from Germany) is a new talented psychedelic rock band consisting of Filip Ramberg (guitar, vocals), Martinvan Houtum (drums) and Fredrik Severin (bass). Their idea was to create music with a sound based on psychedelic rock, folk music from the East and spiritual jazz. Since the band was formed in Drammen, Norway in 2007, they have moved to Oslo and played numerous gigs there and around Norway. WIND has built an excellent reputation as a live act, and their sets often consist of songs that start off in one place, and, with improvisation, never end the same way. 2010 saw their first effort, a 7'' vinyl named 'Out Here / What's Not There', followed by the full-fledged album 'Wind And Friends' in 2011. Their current 10? EP 'Sleep' shows some similarities to Papir and Causa Sui, consists of two psychedelic tunes which were improvised in the studio, and are in many ways a product like listening to the band in live circumstances.
