"iamthemorning is a neo-classical vocal indie band from St.Petersburg, Russia with a sound unique to the Russian music scene. All instrumentalists in the band (that play piano, cello, violin and viola) have higher classical education and are studying in the Conservatory. Iamthemorning combine non-typical but easily perceived vocal parts of progressive rock with a distinctly classical musical approach when it comes to the arrangements, creating music that fell between the orchestrated meditations of Phillipp Glass and the abstract poetics of Maynard James Keenan."
