Jack Grisham, former lead singer for the punk band T.S.O.L, left that group in 1983 following the disastrous reception by many of the band's fans to their 1982 LP Beneath the Shadows and formed this group, with this EP being their sole release. Sounds like a natural, if much less interesting, progression from the rain-drenched psychedelic artpunk sounds of Beneath the Shadows into an even more keyboard friendly dark and dancey goth rock sound. Had the songs and production been better, this group might have lasted long enough to release a full-length album, but no such luck. Nothing to be ashamed of, which singer Jack is, but nothing to brag about either, unless you own a rare vinyl copy. The songs aren't that bad, just not that good either, and dated. I do like the catchy "Calm Storm", but the rest are best appreciated by completists. Review by "HellBentForLager" (Rate Your Music).
