*. Nine Stones Close .*

Album: St Lo (2008)
Genre: Prog Rock (Crossover/Exp./Post Rock)  /  Holland

What they have produced here on this, their debut album is post-rock with some heavy guitars and doom metal connotations. A band called Trouble springs to mind. Shoe gazing melody lines gets washed over by some heavy guitars and then return to being introvert again. This is basically how this album goes. The problem and my main gripe is the lack of some great, even good songs here. There is none, to be brutally honest. The musicians does their best and lives on scraps of bones and meat throughout these thirty-eight minutes. There is nothing here which really leaves an impact on me. It is a decent album and that's it. Review by "toroddfuglesteg" (Prog Archives).
