*. Midnight Satellites .*

Album: Midnight Satellites (2013)(EP 5 Track's)
Genre: Hard Rock (Prog Rock)  /  USA

BIO: When the hammer of mainstream trends smash the notion that rock music should exist, there is always room for a new group of vigilantes to raise a fist and prove once again there is indeed a demand for the music that once reigned king. Midnight Satellites. A rock band from Temecula, California, consisting of Salvatore Spinelli (Vocals/Guitar), Brennan Kilpatrick (Guitar/vocals), Ryan Kilpatrick (Bass) and Anthony Raya (Drums). A group of friends who initially came together to explore the music written by their heros… Jeff Beck, The Allman Brothers, Soundgarden and Zeppelin etc, its no wonder their music sounds as it does. The songwriting is vulnerable, honest and refined. The vocals powerful, dynamic and catchy peppered with harmonies and grit. The guitars explore and blend dirty soulful blues, classic southern dueling and blazing technical metal. The drumming and rhythms bounce from simple and direct to complex syncopations while frequently changing time signatures’ keeping the ears of listeners glues to the speakers. After being in many bands with each other locally , the four members decided it was time to create music together as one solid venture, and in early 2012 that vision began to take shape. Their first recording “Come For You” was received with much intrigue and enthusiasm by friends and local audiences which inspired more original music to be written and in September of 2012, they were asked to be direct support for the Gin Blossoms at Monte De Oro Winery. During the following months into early 2013 more material was written, played and fine tuned. Producer, Engineer and friend, Alex Pappas (Finch) was immediately on board to work with the band, and in 3 long days, one night and plenty of caffeine, their EP was tracked. With some final touches added by veteran percussionist, Jackie Bertone, the Midnight Satellites EP was mixed, mastered and is ready for aural digestion. (www.midnightsatellites.com)
