Based in Melbourne, Australia, The Merlin Bird meld a variety of musical influences into an atmospheric whole. Their work contains elements of rock, folk and classical music, combined with lyrics that explore the worldly, the esoteric and the downright unfathomable. While previous predictions of band membership numbering in the millions have proven incorrect, the mathematical function used to calculate this has now been revised to show an arithmetical growth rate rather than an exponential one.
