Album: Planet 13 (2004)
Genre: Prog Rock (Heavy/Prog Metal) / USA
Like Neil Henderson's "Big Buildings," this disc is far better than any one man show has any right to be (okay, there's actually two, but one plays all the instruments, including drums). The vocalist sounds a lot like Randy Jackson of Zebra and is very well suited to the music, which is something like a cross between the sci-fi era Rush and the more recent Symphony X. Overall, the mood of the disc is somewhat dark and not something you'd want to listen to every day. The only drawbacks is that there is no really new ground covered here, but what is covered is covered exceptionally well. If you're a progressive metal fan, you pretty much have to have this disc.
