*. Warehouse .*

Album: Powerhouse (1972)
Genre: Prog Rock (Psych./Hard Rock)  /  Netherlands

Dutch horn prog band, I would have liked a few more harder-rocking tracks but there's just about enough. They are all good compositions with good production, and pretty good English vocals. The horns are not over-done, they take a few breaks and they stick to the less cheesy, more riffy style and are equally balanced with the decent guitar work and other musicianship. Recommended to those looking for super-obscure horn rock. Warehouse was a band from Friesland and “Powerhouse” was their only album from 1972. Tim Greek is chosen Ekseption. In 1968 Greek get out of this band, he concentrates on producing. One of his first achievements was the production of Dimitri Tower LP Between Heaven and Earth and the first LP Brainbox. Less familiar with Greek plates behind the mixing desk sits include Powerhouse (1972) Warehouse, Safe in Traffic (1973) Bromsnor and Schelle Call and Daybreak (1973) Pat Cool. In 1979, Tim Greek, then now staff producer at EMI, in contact with André Hazes. It is the beginning of a very successful collaboration. Tim Greek comes on February 13, 1988 in a car accident killed.
