I was turned on to this band's first album a few years ago and it blew me away!! This follow-up buries even that masterpiece. If this album had been released on a major label in the early 90's (i.e. before the Seattle Flannel Brigade destroyed the days when big hair and heavy riffs dominated the airwaves), these guys would be right up there on the charts with Queensryche and the other melodic prog/metal bands. Tracks like "Rush" and "Undone" have unbeliveably infectious riffs and the ballads are to die for!! If you are a fan of melodic metal A La Queensryche, this album is a MUST for your collection!! I would eaily vote this one the best hard rock album of 1999 based on what I've heard so far. Check out Pavlov's Dog as well.
