Following extremely shortly on the heels of their last album, this features the long-lived Argentinian prog band now down to a trio but utterly undiminished in energy. The instrumentation is now keyboards, guitar/bass and drums. Always a keyboard-dominated outfit, this is truer than ever with Magna Fabulis, which presents two tracks with long, solo-driven passages that add up to an hour of playing time and a 'short track' that is 10' long! The guitarist isn't featured nearly as much, but as in the last album, he makes it sound like every note in his solos is meaningful. This is sure to knock out fans of Par Lindh, Rick Wakeman, ELP, etc. (www.waysidemusic.com)
